WHAT IS IT?

50 inspirational piano tracks for children's ballet class!

TELL ME MORE ABOUT IT

This music is primarily aimed at young dancers at a level equivalent to RAD grades 3-5, with a handful of tracks at the beginning for younger children (skips, galops etc.). For instance, you will find music suitable for a simple introductory demi-plié, as well as more substantial tracks for more advanced pliés. In addition to the standard barre and centre work, towards the end of the album are 18 tracks to help demonstrate musical styles, from polkas to barcarolles to slip-jigs.

In some instances the tracks may feel slightly too long (such as galops from the corner); this is intentional to allow plenty of time for lots of children learning the step!

As the project progressed, I felt a substantial amount of the music would also be appropriate for more advanced dancers, so listen carefully to the tracks and you decide how best to use it in your classes. All exercise titles are only my suggestions and teachers should feel free to interpret the music as they wish.
